Welcome to Live AI Translate. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Live AI Translate mobile application, features, content, subscriptions, in-app purchases, AI-powered tools, translation services, photo translation, OCR, voice translation, live translation, AI keyboard, Ask AI, Write, Reply, Continue, Spell Check, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Live AI Translate provides language assistance and AI-powered productivity features, including text translation, photo translation, OCR text recognition, voice-to-text translation, live translation, AI keyboard, Ask AI, writing assistance, reply generation, continuation, spelling correction, and related functions.

The Service may rely on third-party AI, translation, OCR, speech recognition, cloud infrastructure, analytics, advertising, attribution, crash reporting, and purchase management providers. Feature availability, supported languages, model options, processing speed, output quality, usage limits, and pricing may change from time to time.

2. Eligibility and user responsibility

You are responsible for your use of the Service and for any content you submit, upload, type, record, scan, translate, or generate through the Service. You must use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. If you are under the age required to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

3. User content and processing permission

You retain ownership of the text, images, voice audio, prompts, and other content that you provide to the Service (“User Content”). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

By using a feature that requires translation, OCR, speech recognition, AI inference, or technical processing, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to process your User Content solely to operate the Service, complete your user-initiated request, provide output, troubleshoot issues, protect the Service, and comply with law.

We do not collect or store your original translation content, selected images, voice recordings, prompts, OCR text, or AI replies on our own servers. Translation history and similar records, if enabled, are stored locally on your device and may be deleted by you in the App or by uninstalling the App.

4. Third-party AI, translation, OCR, and speech services

Some features cannot be completed entirely on-device. When you actively use translation, photo translation, OCR, voice translation, live translation, AI Keyboard, Ask AI, Write, Reply, Continue, Spell Check, or related features, your text, selected images, OCR text, voice audio, transcribed text, prompts, keyboard text submitted for processing, or related context may be transmitted through encrypted connections to third-party providers solely to complete your request.

These providers may include, depending on the feature used and configuration: Google LLC, OpenAI, Inc., Anthropic, PBC, xAI Corp., Alibaba Cloud and Alibaba Group affiliates, ByteDance / Volcano Engine affiliates, DeepSeek, NetEase Youdao, Apple Speech Recognition / AVFoundation, and user-configured local or remote model providers such as Ollama.

Before relevant User Content is transmitted to third-party AI, translation, OCR, or speech providers, the App presents an in-app notice and obtains your permission. If you decline, the App will not transmit the relevant content, and the corresponding feature may be unavailable or limited.

We require third-party providers to process data only for service purposes, to provide the same or equivalent level of protection described in our Privacy Policy, and not to use your submitted content for their own marketing or independent commercial purposes. We do not use your User Content to train our own models. Where third-party API settings or contractual terms allow, we configure or require providers not to use your submitted content for model training.

5. AI Keyboard and Allow Full Access

The Service may include the Live AI Translate keyboard extension. The AI Keyboard helps you translate, rewrite, reply, continue, spell check, and use AI language assistance while typing.

To use certain keyboard features, you may need to enable the Live AI Translate keyboard and Apple’s “Allow Full Access” permission. When enabled, you authorize the AI Keyboard to process the text you type, paste, select, or submit through the Live AI Translate keyboard only for the purpose of providing the feature you requested.

We do not collect or store your keyboard input on our own servers. When you actively request a cloud-based keyboard feature, necessary text, prompts, context, or generated output may be transmitted through encrypted connections to the relevant third-party AI or translation providers described in our Privacy Policy solely to complete your request.

You should not enter passwords, payment information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information into the AI Keyboard. If you disable “Allow Full Access” or decline required permissions, certain AI Keyboard features may be unavailable or limited.

6. AI and translation output disclaimer

AI-generated and machine-translated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, offensive, biased, misleading, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying output before relying on it, publishing it, sending it, or using it for important decisions.

The Service is not a substitute for professional translation, legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, emergency services, or other professional judgment. Do not rely on the Service for high-risk or safety-critical situations.

8. Subscriptions, in-app purchases, and billing

The App may offer free features, paid features, subscriptions, credits, or other in-app purchases. Paid features, pricing, trial periods, renewal terms, and included usage limits are displayed in the App before purchase.

Purchases and subscriptions made through iOS are processed by Apple App Store using Apple StoreKit. Your payment relationship is with Apple. We do not receive your credit card number or full payment account details.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, according to Apple’s subscription rules. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Refund requests for App Store purchases must generally be submitted to Apple. We cannot guarantee refunds outside Apple’s policies.

9. Advertising and third-party SDKs

The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob or related advertising technologies. The App may also use Google Firebase, AppsFlyer, Meta / Facebook SDK, Apple StoreKit, and other service providers for analytics, attribution, crash reporting, advertising measurement, purchase management, security, and product improvement.

Advertising and analytics providers do not receive your original translation text, selected photos, voice recordings, prompts, OCR text, or AI replies for advertising or analytics purposes. Tracking across apps or websites is subject to Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework and your device settings.

10. Intellectual property

The App, Service, software, interface, design, graphics, trademarks, logos, text, and other materials provided by us are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use or internal business use, as permitted by the App Store rules and these Terms.

11. Availability, usage limits, and changes

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, limit, or replace any part of the Service at any time, including AI models, supported languages, translation providers, free usage quotas, paid plans, credits, usage limits, feature availability, and pricing.

The Service may be unavailable or delayed due to maintenance, network issues, third-party provider downtime, high traffic, system errors, legal restrictions, or other reasons beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or always-available operation.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, abused usage limits, interfered with the Service, or used the Service in a harmful or fraudulent way. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data the App obtains, how data is collected and used, when data may be shared with third-party providers, how we obtain consent, and how you can manage or delete data. Please read it carefully before using the Service.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, non-infringement, and course of performance.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, business, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, AI-generated output, translation output, third-party services, subscriptions, advertising, or these Terms.

16. Third-party terms

Your use of the Service may also be subject to third-party terms and policies, including Apple App Store terms, Google policies, third-party AI provider policies, advertising network policies, and analytics provider policies. We are not responsible for third-party services except as required by applicable law.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and post the revised Terms at this page. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
